What Can a GIRL do? A world of GOOD!
The Girl Scout Cookie Program is way more than a sale - it is a leadership and skill building experience for young women. Through the Cookie Program, girls:
DISCOVER successful business practices and skills like leadership, decision making, goal setting, customer service and money management.
CONNECT with other girls, their troop and their communities through door-to-door sales and community cookie booths.
TAKE ACTION through service projects, programs and trips using proceeds from the cookie program.
Why buy Girl Scout Cookies?
Buying Girl Scout cookies is more than just handing over money for a box. It’s about the skills and learning a girl gains from interacting directly with you. It’s about the experience of running her own cookie business and working with others. It’s the reason we don’t sell cookies online. And it’s why we encourage you to buy your cookies from a Girl Scout—the Cookie Professional!—and not her parents.Your purchase means you get tasty cookies—and a girl learns a lifetime of skills.
How do I get my Girl Scout Cookies?
Girls will begin taking cookie orders January 11, 2016. The cookie season ends April 16, 2016.
