This is an exciting new watershed-based program for young women to explore their local streams. During the STREAM Girls program, Girl Scouts assess a community stream, sample macroinvertebrates, journal and sketch their experiences, tie a fishing fly, and even learn to cast a fly rod! Through STREAM Girls, Trout Unlimited aims to promote experiential science learning connected to lessons in leadership, arts, health, and recreation, fostering girl scouts that will become impactful stewards of clean, healthy watersheds.
