Description:  Explore Hope brings the excitement and curiosity of learning to students in K – 12 grades. Science and Technology programs on campus offer access to unique resources and hands on exploration.

ExploreHope is available as a resource for troops to borrow equipment, visit a lab or connect with an expert. ExploreHope is also open to suggestions on future Journey in a Day or other STEM events for the entire council. (explore@hope.edu)

 

Earth Day with Art in the Outdoor Badge Series Workshop

Whether you’re a Brownie or Ambassador Girl Scout, join us at Explore Hope at Hope College where you’ll earn your Art in the Outdoor badge and participate in our Earth Day event! If you’re a Daisy Girl Scout, join in our Earth Day celebration where you’ll earn a fun patch and work with older Girl Scouts on an outdoor project to help our community.

Additional details: This is not a drop-off event. Girls attending the badge workshop in the morning will need to bring a sack lunch. There is also a parent release form that must be filled out prior the event and brought with you the day of.

Fall in Love with Science - Middle School Girl's Day

Girls grades, 6th-8th will get a chance to explore career options in Science and Engineering though hands on activities with Hope college students.

Get Moving! Junior Journey in a Day

Get Moving! Offers Juniors a chance to earn three prestigious Girl Scout leadership awards-Energize, Investigate, and Innovate. Girls will have a hands on participation in learning about energy and learn about energy issues.

Please pack a lunch for the event. This is not a drop off event, adults are invited to participate at an Expo at 2 PM to see the girl's accomplishments.

$25.00 includes badges and Get Moving girl journey book.
